HRM RailWay employee super app — main dashboard UI on iPhone showing attendance, HR tasks and Face ID check-in, internal mobile app design for Uzbekistan Railways 65,000 employees, 2026

Project Overview

HRM RailWay is an internal workforce app for a national railway company with roughly 65,000 employees. It brings scattered HR tasks — check-in via Face ID, leave and hiring requests, signed documents, payroll, and a directory of internal tools — into one place. The audience is broad: office staff to field workers, across a wide age range, in Uzbek. The goal was a system that feels trustworthy around sensitive data (pay, discipline, personal records) and effortless for daily use.

Approach

I audited every screen as a senior UX/UI designer and rebuilt the app around a consistent design system: clear color semantics (green for confirmed, red only for real problems, neutral for pending), one date format, and honest states for empty, offline, and loading. Raw data dashboards were turned into insight — ratios and bars instead of number dumps, with actionable alerts surfaced first. Sensitive areas (payroll, disciplinary records) were designed with restraint and role-based access, and the services hub was structured as a true super app with SSO-based mini-apps.

HRM RailWay super app services hub UI — employee profile and internal tools navigation screen, role-based mobile app design for national railway operator
HRM RailWay mobile app home screen UI — action-first HR dashboard with color-coded status system, internal workforce app design for DAS UTY MCHJ
HRM RailWay internal news and announcements screen — enterprise mobile app UI with article feed, designed for 65,000 railway staff in Uzbekistan

Final Results

A cohesive, scalable HR platform: an action-first home, a fast Face ID attendance flow, a searchable 581-article labor code, role-aware analytics for managers, and a services hub ready for embedded mini-apps. Every state — filled, empty, offline, error — is intentional, giving 65,000 employees a single, calm, trustworthy place to manage their work life.
